Visitation Dreams - Dream Visits From Departed Loved Ones

We have no scientific evidence of an afterlife.
Yet, many people have had what I call a "Visitation Dream," a unique type of dream in which a deceased person comes to visit.
For those who have had this kind of experience, it is unmistakable proof that the soul lives on after death.
For an individual who would find comfort in the idea that a departed loved one could visit in a dream, or would like to have a loved one come and visit, this article may be of interest.
How will I know that it is truly a visit, and not just a regular dream? Visitation Dreams typically are literal.
That is--they are not usually steeped in symbolism, as most other kinds of dreams tend to be.
In most cases, if it is an actual visit from the deceased, you will notice that the visitor looks younger, healthier, just as they did at their physical peak.
A departed loved one may make an appearance in a dream--but say nothing.
A younger-looking 'physical' appearance is showing you what a departed soul would say if you could open your telepathic ears: "In my after-life, I have chosen to look and feel as I did when I was this younger age.
I want you to see that I am all right; that I made it to a good place.
" If a loved one died after suffering a debilitating final illness, his or her spirit that appears to you as healthy-looking, is telling you: "My suffering is over.
" Some departed souls do communicate conversationally.
If you are open to this, the visitor will talk to you.
He or she could say: "I am happy and doing well in the afterlife.
" If you have the presence of mind to do so, you can ask questions of your loved one.
A person who has died, can visit in a dream to give the dreamer advice, or to provide an important message.
There have been many accounts of the dream visitor telling the dreamer where to find important papers, money, etc.
Former Beatle, Paul McCartney, credits dreams with inspiring several of his songs.
When Paul's "mum" died of breast cancer, he was feeling sorrowful about losing her.
She came to visit him in a dream and told him that everything is going to be all right.
She ended her conversation with the words: "Let it be.
"
This dream inspired McCartney's song of that title.
If the message is important enough, and the person who crossed over cannot get through in your dream, they can go to someone else who is open to dream visits.
I had an interesting dream from my best friend who had died several years before.
In my dream, she kept telling me that I had to help her daughter find her jewelry.
She had hidden it away, and wanted her daughter to have it.
The next morning after having this dream, I called my friend's daughter and told her about the message from her mother.
"Oh," she said.
"I had recently been looking for that jewelry, and couldn't find it.
I had decided that Mom had given it away before she died.
" Would you like to have a visit from a departed family member or friend? You can invite a loved one to make a dream-visit.
Before falling asleep, say something like this: "Dad, please come and visit me tonight in my dream.
I love and miss you, and I dearly want to see you.
" Or this:: "Grandma, I know you suffered near the end of your life.
Please visit me in my dream tonight so I can be assured that you made it to a good place.
" Don't be disappointed if you do not have results right away.
If you are not used to remembering your dreams, it will take a little practice and patience.
Keep on asking--every night.
You should also add this statement to your request for a dream visit from a loved one..
..
"and, I will remember my dream.
