    • 1). Click "System."

    • 2). Click "Preferences."

    • 3). Click "Screen Resolution."

    • 4). Click "Clone Screens" if you want each of your monitors to display the same image. If you want them each to display one half of a larger image, leave this box unchecked.

    • 5). Click on one of your monitors in the window on the screen and use the "Resolution" drop down menu to specify the resolution for that particular unit. Click on the other monitor and use the "Resolution" drop down menu to specify the resolution for that unit. When you're done making adjustments, click "Apply" to finish configuring two monitors in Ubuntu.
