Instructions

• 1). Navigate your Web browser to Microsoft's support and documentation page for the LifeCam Cinema.
  
  
• 2). Select your operating system from the dropdown menu and click the "Download" button next to the LifeCam software. Do not click the "Download" button next to the "Firmware Update" option.
  
  
• 3). Double-click the file when it has completed downloading and follow the on-screen instructions to install the LifeCam software and Drivers.
  
  
• 4). Plug the LifeCam Cinema's cord into a USB port on your computer after the driver and software installation has been completed and wait while Windows recognizes the webcam. You will see a message in the lower right corner of your screen that says, "Device installed successfully."
  
  
• 5). Click the "Start" menu in the lower left corner of your screen and open the "Microsoft LifeCam" software.
  
  
• 6). Click the "gear" icon at the top of the right sidebar to adjust webcam settings such as resolution, brightness and contrast.
