How to Compare Flight Fares
- 1). Surf to the Farecompare home page. You'll see a rectangular box with the words "Find a Flight - Compare Prices Fast" at the top.
- 2). On the left, you'll see two search fields. Start typing the airport closest to you in the top field; a pop-up list will appear to help you complete your entry.
- 3). Next, click the small blue calendar and choose your departure date. Now type your destination city in the second field, and choose the date you want to return.
- 4). Click the small box in the bottom left corner and choose the number of passengers. Finally, click the "Find Flights" button.
- 1). Browse to the Cheap Flights website.
- 2). Enter your local airport and desired destination in the "To" and "From" fields inside the "Search Flights" box.
- 3). Click the small circle next to "I have fixed travel dates" to select your departure and return flights.
- 4). After completing this step, choose the number of passengers, then click the "Search recommended websites" buttons.
- 1). Visit Orbitz.com and enter your local airport and destination city in the provided search fields. There are no drop-down or pop-up menus for these fields, so you'll need to type out the city and two-letter state code. For example, "San Francisco, CA."
- 2). Next, select your dates. Click inside the "Leave" and "Return" fields to bring up calendars for your convenience.
- 3). Choose your number of passengers, then click the "Find Flights" button in the bottom right corner of the "Quick Search" box.
