How to Set Up Peer-to-Peer Wireless
- 1). Click "Start," "Control panel," "Network and Internet" and "Network and sharing center." Click "Set up a new connection or network."
- 2). Scroll down in the list to select the option to "set up a wireless ad hoc (computer-to-computer) network" and click "next." Click "Next" again, after reading the description about this type of network.
- 3). Enter a name for the network, as well as a security key. This name and key will be used by other users to connect to the network created from your computer.
- 4). Write down the name and key you entered. Click "Next" and wait for the network to be created.
- 5). Click the network icon in the task bar on a different computer. Select the name of the network you created, and enter the key when prompted to connect to the network. Connect other computers to the network in the same way.
