Hi, I'm Kelly from Wildyarns.com in Denver, Colorado. I'm going to show you how to knit a fluffy bobble hat. To knit a fluffy bobble hat, you need to know how to knit bobbles. There are many ways to make bobbles and they turn out different sizes and textures but they all are knit with the same basic principle. You'll start any bobble by knitting several stitches into one stitch. One way to do this is to knit in the front, leaving the stitch on your left needle, knit in the back, still leaving that stitch on the left needle, knit in the front again. If you'd like you could make this five stitches wide and knit in the back and then knit in the front again but I'm only going to do one that is three stitches wide. You'll drop the stitch that you've been knitting into from your left needle. You'll turn your knitting project and you'll purl three stitches. So you will purl all three stitches you just made from the one stitch. You'll turn your knitting around again and you will knit three stitches. You'll turn your knitting around yet again and purl those three stitches. Now you'll turn your knitting around and you'll knit these three stitches together which will make the bobble puff out. So you'll put your needle through all three stitches which can be a little difficult, you'll wrap your yarn around, pull it through and drop off those three stitches. And then you'll continue knitting across the rest of your row and you'll see that the bobble puffs out. I hope you enjoyed learning how to knit a fluffy bobble hat.
