  The Mustang Track Loader 16 (MTL 16) is a vehicle used in the construction industry for digging, loading and carrying material. MTL 16 is a highly maneuverable and strong machine. It's able to function in even the most difficult working conditions due to the powerful four-cylinder 66 horsepower engine and hydraulic systems, which allow the MTL 16 to supply the force needed to function on site.
  
  

Structure

• At 83.6 inches in height and 139.5 inches in length (with bucket attachment), the MTL 16 weighs a total of 7,497 pounds. Due to the size of the machine, the MTL 16 requires a ground clearance of 12.2 inches, 61 inches of rear clearance and 93 inches of front clearance radius space when in operation. The MTL 16 has a tipping capacity of 4,630 pounds. The undercarriage consists of a tractive piston pump and a tractive planetary drive. The undercarriage has four 12.6-inch wide and 54.7-inch length rubber rollers, providing 689.2 square inches of contact area. It creates 4.86 psi of ground pressure when in use. The MTL 16 is operated with a joystick.
  
  

Bucket

• The bucket attachment itself is 70 inches wide, which provides a maximum load capacity of 15.3 cubic feet. This machine has a maximum reach of 33.5 inches with a dump height of 93.3 inches and a dump angle of 37 degrees. The bucket is able to lift a full load in 4.2 seconds (an empty load in 2.7 seconds) and dump the load in 2.7 seconds. The recommended operating load is 50 percent of tipping capacity (2,315 pounds).
  
  

Engine

• The MTL 16 is equipped with a Yanmar engine (model 4TNV98). This four-cylinder engine has a natural aspiration and is capable of displacing 202.5 cubic inches. The MTL 16 engine has a gross horsepower of 66 at 2,450 rpm with a SAE- rated torque of 181 feet-per-pound at 1,600 rpm. The fuel tank holds 19.8 gallons, 11.6 quarts of engine coolant and 10.8 quarts of engine oil. The MTL 16 is powered by a 12-volt battery with a 60-amp alternator.
  
  

Hydraulic System

• The self-leveling auxiliary hydraulic system has a refill tank total volume of 10.2/15.8 gallons. Using 18 gallons per minute, the hydraulic system has a working pressure of 2988 psi. This machine is capable of traveling at a low speed of 4.5 mph and a high speed of 6.3 mph.
