His and Hers: Show of Love

103 53
Here it is again--the February month of love is flirting its way around the corner.
Last year about this time, I shared some fun and seductive ideas you could use to spice up this special day.
Unless you've mastered the art of love, than like most people in relationships, you probably think that men are from Mars and women are from Venus.
The positive feedback I received for my romantic Valentine ideas article last year has led me to keep the Valentine idea-giving ritual alive.
So once again, let me share a separate heart-to-heart with each of you in the spirit of Valentine's day.
Earth to Men from Mars: Nothing's changed much since last Valentine's day.
Men are still great at many things: lifting boxes, killing spiders, loosening jars.
Valentine's day is your chance to really play up your romantic side, (you know you have one).
If you love someone, there's nothing more manly than letting her know it.
And if you really want to put hair on your chest, show her that you love her.
In even the healthiest relationship, you and she will have different interests.
She loves sumo wrestling.
You love cherry blossoms.
It's okay--it's great that you're not afraid to show your feminine side.
Use this to your advantage! She probably thinks you don't pay enough attention to her, or what she does on a daily basis.
If you've been together for a while, chances are you might have even tuned her out, at times.
So what if she's right?Prove her wrong! Buy a dozen roses and strategically hide one in all of the spots she'll have to hit throughout her day.
When she opens her dresser drawer, let her be greeted by a long-stemmed red rose.
Place some in the laundry basket, on her desk at work, on the seat of the riding lawnmower, in the mop bucket and so on.
You get the point.
When she finds all these roses, she'll know you're paying attention to her and that you appreciate all she does.
But wait--there's more.
You're not quite done yet! Be sure to take her out--whether it'd be for a movie, or a romantic dinner.
Throw a cherry on top of it all by making a point to open her car door--not just for the night, but for as long as you're together.
If you've been together for a while, chances are you don't open the car door for her anymore.
But you can bet she misses that everyday gesture of love and respect.
Really, that's all it takes to completely impress her.
Let me tell you, you won't need to give her shots of vodka to get lucky that night.
Earth to Women from Venus: Ladies, get ready to work really hard to show him some love this Valentine's Day.
Men can be very difficult to please.
So here, take notes.
Point number one: Show up in sexy lingerie and give him a strip tease.
There! You're done!Let me tell you, he'll be ready to leave Mars to come live with you in Venus!Okay, but just in case this whole sexy strip tease thing is something you do on a regular basis, (you go girl!), I suggest you put in a little more effort.
Let me warm you up to a few other ideas.
If he's like most guys, he'll probably like pizza.
Pizza by nature isn't very romantic, but you can change that with this gesture.
Buy the largest frozen cheese pizza you can find.
Then, go find his favorite toppings; let's say they're pepperoni, mushroom, olive and peppers.
Now, use these toppings on the pizza to spell out "I love u".
Shape one big heart to replace the word "love".
If this is a new relationship or if you both just met, you might not want to say this.
Instead, spell out "U rock!" or whatever else, but make sure it's short and sweet or you'll need a bigger pizza.
Want to spice things up more?Lick the pizza sauce off his fingers.
This will certainly add more pepperoni to his pizza--if you know what I mean? Penny Phang Enterprises, Inc.
