    • 1). Connect speaker cables to the "Main Out" jacks on the back of your main speakers. Run these cables from the speakers to the power amplifier system which will provide these speakers with more power during the performance. Connect the cables to the "Main In" jacks on the amplifier.

    • 2). Connect a cable from the "Main Out" jack on the back of the power amplifier system to the "Main In" jacks on the back of the subwoofer unit for your speakers. This subwoofer will provide the deep bass sound for your speaker system.

    • 3). Connect another speaker cable from the "Main Out" jack on the back of the subwoofer to one of the "High Pass" inputs on the front of the Mackie mixing board. You will now be able to adjust the sound coming from this system with the sliders on the mixer.

    • 4). Plug the cords into the inputs on your instruments and run them to one of the "Input" jacks on the mixer. If you are using microphones for vocals or to improve the sound of the drums, place them where necessary and then run the sound cables from the mics to the "Microphone" inputs on the mixer. You will now be able to hear these devices through the main speaker system.
