How to Make Gel Stickers
- 1). Place the pattern or template for your desired design underneath the parchment paper. You should easily be able to see your design underneath the paper. Kids can draw their own design to customize their gel stickers.
- 2). Trace the design carefully using liquid leading paint. Trace any details where you will need to have separate colors. The liquid leading will provide a barrier between each color of your design. Allow the leading paint to dry for two hours.
- 3). Fill in the design using special gel paints or puffy paints. Squeeze the paint out, being careful not to fill the paint over the height of the liquid leading. Fill all of the white space and don't leave any blank spaces.
- 4). Allow the project to dry overnight.
- 5). Cut around the stickers. To adhere them to the glass, press the painted side of the paper to the glass and carefully peel the paper away. Put them somewhere where the sun will shine through them for best results.
