Hi, I'm Holly Silva and I've been a crafts expert for 15 years. Today, I'm going to show you some craft projects using safely pin candle holders. So here I have a couple of clothes pins, I'm going to take my hot glue gun, now if you're a child do not do this, ask an adult to do this part for you and I'm going to dab on a couple little beads of hot glue here. Now as you can see they're arranged wide end to narrow end because this is going to make a nice creative and, and sturdy platform for the candle to sit on. Now we are going to brace this by adding just a couple of pieces, short pieces, of course, of Popsicle stick, that I broke into quarters and then I'm going to put on the other side, just a couple more dabs, of hot glue and our little brace. Now this is going to be the bottom of our candle holder. Now you're going to take you glue gun and you're going to glue in on the inner sides of your clothes pins, this is going to stick them together so that it's a nice sturdy foundation for your candles and okay, there it is and now just pull off any excess hot glue, that has already hardened. And so now we have a nice stable foundation. Now we're going to take our safety pins and dabbing more hot glue along the edges, we're going to take our safety pins and place them loop side down along each side of the clothes pins here, that way the glue seeps through the ring, alright and then we'll do the same to the other side. And you'll want to wait while the glue hardens for just a couple of seconds before placing your safety pins on because otherwise they wont hold and you'll just spend more time trying to stabilize them than actually applying them. And there we are, now again pull off the excess glue. And this should make a nice little platform for a candle. Now of course this works for any size candle, the only difference is of course you'll use more safety pins and clothes pins and of course the Popsicle sticks at the bottom, of course you can use anything else, just improvise, use your imagination, as long as it works and it's safe, then you've got your safety pin candle holder. If you have any questions on this on anything else please do let us know, we'd love to help. See you next time.
