• Sandwich breads are also called Pullman loaves. This kind of bread is baked in long, narrow pans with a lid that creates a flat-topped surface. It is sold pre-sliced. • Buns for hot dogs and hamburgers are other types of breads which are sold in packaged forms. These buns come in white and wheat varieties. Hot dog buns are generally sold in packages of eight to compliment packages of hot dogs which are also usually sold in this quantity. • Tortillas are thin flat breads made without leavening. Tortillas can be purchased in corn or flour varieties. Tortillas are used in several Mexican and Latin themed recipes like tacos and quesadillas or even in place of bread for creative sandwich making.

• Artisan bread is sold in smaller loaves than traditional sandwich bread because it is not mass produced the way other breads are. These breads come in special varieties like potato, honey oat and pumpernickel.
