How to Make a Balloon Wreath

    • 1). Slide a deflated balloon into the square crook of a floral greening pin. The balloon should lie inside the pin at roughly the balloon's middle point.

    • 2). Press the pin into the foam or grapevine wreath. Press hard to ensure that the balloon is secure and that the greening pins are flat against the wreath. Do not pierce the balloon; the pin should easily secure the balloon to the wreath without puncturing it.

    • 3). Cover the entire wreath by pinning the balloons with the floral pins. For a 14-inch wreath, about 150 balloons will be needed to fill the entire wreath. A larger wreath may require up to 200 balloons, depending on how full you want the wreath to be.

    • 4). Decorate the wreath by adding floral pins with ribbons tied around them at various points around the wreath to embellish it. Another option is to cut scraps of tulle with scissors and tie them to the greening pins. Push the tulle-decorated pins around the balloons to add decoration.
