One very powerful method to boost confidence and promote self-growth is to share your gifts and abilities with those less fortunate.
Believe it or not, no matter how bad you think you may have things right now, there is always someone out there that has it worse, and lending a helping hand to those who could benefit from your experience can be a huge confidence booster.
Nothing in the world feels more emotionally rewarding than helping others; it is a sensation that cannot be replicated through any other activity.
In fact, many mental health experts regularly advise their clients to participate in some type of volunteer or charity work as a way to ease the effects of depression, anxiety and poor self-esteem.
If you lack self confidence, you may feel you have nothing to offer the world, but there are literally thousands of people who would cheerfully and appreciatively welcome both your help and opinion.
And sharing what you have to offer not only feels good, it can help boost confidence as well.
