    • 1). Open the "Start" menu.

    • 2). Type "Command Prompt," then press "Ctrl"+"Shift"+"Enter."

    • 3). Click "Yes" if asked to give administrative consent to the program.

    • 4). Type "Rundll32 <Path>,<Entry> <information to pass>" Enter the path to the DLL file and the name of the procedure you would like to run in the <Path> area---be sure to end it in .dll. Enter the name of the procedure you are calling in the place of <Entry>. Replace <Information to pass> with information that the procedure may be expecting, such as minimum and maximum values. Press "Enter."

    • 5). Press "Enter" to invoke the DLL file's application procedure.
