It offers opportunities for year-round camping, with 77 tent and trailer camping sites that include fire rings and picnic tables, as well as 10 leantos with flush toilets, fire rings, and picnic tables nearby. A twenty-mile stretch of the Appalachian Trail runs through the park, while the top of Wawayanda Mountain offers sensational views. More than forty miles of trails are marked in the park. Opportunities for winter sports include cross-country skiing, ice fishing, ice skating, and snowmobiling.
