How to Remove Hairspray From a Tile Floor
- 1). Pour 1 gallon of hot water in a bucket, and add 1 tablespoon of dish soap.
- 2). Apply the soapy water to the tile floor with a mop. Work the mop back and forth over the spot with the hairspray.
- 3). Remove the soapy water with a squeegee. Mrs. Clean USA recommends doing this to keep the tile floor shiny.
- 4). Apply a small amount of ammonia to the hairspray spot if it did not completely wipe clean with the soapy water. Let it sit for 2 minutes to break down the hairspray.
- 5). Wipe up the ammonia and hairspray with a soft cloth. Flush the area with hot water, and wipe up with a dry towel.
