    • 1). Use a word processor on your computer to create the copy for the inside of your invitation. Include the time, date, address and RSVP information for the ceremony and reception. (Prefolded invitations generally come with a template number that can be used to easy-print each invite.) Several tests may be necessary to ensure you're placing the paper stock into the printer the right way.

    • 2). Lay each printed invite on a flat surface with the text facing down. Spray the back of the invitation with spray adhesive.

    • 3). Cut the ribbon to fit the width of the open invitation; leave several extra inches over the back flap. Press the ribbon firmly onto the surface of the invite.

    • 4). Cut small strips of adhesive-backed Velcro. Place the "male" end of the Velcro underneath the longer piece of the ribbon. Place the "female" end of the Velcro directly underneath the piece of Velcro on the longer piece of ribbon from the back of the invitation. When you're finished, the ribbon from the back should fold over the ribbon on the front, with the Velcro pieces holding the invitation shut.

    • 5). Glue the pre-tied bow to the top of the Velcro closure so that it covers the visible Velcro on the long end of the ribbon. The completed ribbon should make the invitation look as if it's held closed with a bow similar to one on a gift-wrapped box.

    • 6). Attach a single wedding-scrapbook embellishment to the top center of your invitation. Add an embellishment on the inside of your invite where space permits.
