    • 1). Put a pair of work gloves on to prevent cuts. Clean the piece of cracked glass and the glass pane with white vinegar and a lint-free rag. This will ensure the silicone glue seals the glass properly.

    • 2). Apply a thin line of silicone glue to the cracked glass, making sure the entire circumference of the cracked glass has a small amount of glue on it.

    • 3). Firmly press the cracked piece of glass and the glass pane together. Clamp the two pieces of glass together using a glass clamp. This will allow the silicone to seal tightly.

    • 4). Allow the silicone glue to dry for 24 hours. Remove the clamp. Allow the glue to set and harden for an additional 48 hours before using the glass pane.

    • 5). Use a razor blade or utility knife and scrape away excess silicone glue that may have oozed out while the glass was clamped together. The glass pane is now repaired and ready for use.
