How to Lose Body Weight - And Get the Body You Have Always Dreamed Of
There are hundreds of fad diets and plans available today that it would be near impossible to write about them all.
I don't want to write about specific diets anyhow.
I want to write about how to lose body weight by planning how you are going to do it.
Before you embark on your weight loss schedule, you should know exactly what you are going to do and stick to it.
Fix Your Goals.
1.
You might want to set your final goal to lose 20 - 30 pounds.
Your weekly goal might be to lose 3 pounds so that would mean you would in 7 -10 weeks, your end goal would have been reached.
2.
Ideally you should be in a calm and relaxed state when you commence your diet.
3.
Buy in lots of healthy foods.
Nuts, Fruit, vegetables, fish, pulses, fruit juices and get rid of all those unhealthy foods like pizzas, chocolate, burgers, cream and pies and fizzy drinks etc.
Read about health and nutrition as much as you can before hand so that you know what food to get in.
4.
Keep a food diary listing everything that you eat by the day.
You will be surprised at the end of the week when you look back at what you have eaten.
If there are any things that shouldn't be there, try next time to change them with healthy snacks.
5.
Can you get your family to do the same as you so that you can encourage each other to achieve your goals.
6.
Can you make any more free time in your busy daily routine to get some valuable exercise in.
It doesn't have to be much to start with but it will help you enormously.
7.
Have you been to the doctor to see if you are okay to partake in a change of diet and physical exercise.
8.
When you have reached a milestone, feel free to treat yourself to something.
A trip to the cinema, spa or theater.
9.
Get an inspirational book to read in case you feel like reverting to your old diet.
If you do succumb, don't panic, try to get back on to your new routine and don't feel guilty.
The thing about weight loss is to go about it in a slow and steady way.
Stick to what you're plan is and if one week your weight goes up, don't panic about it.
There are reasons why that might happen.
Everyone has different metabolisms.
As long as you have been doing the right things, next week you should be back on track.
Keep up the exercise.
This will play a major part of your weight loss.
Don't try to do too much to begin with.
Start slowly and build up gradually.
Find something that you enjoy doing.
There's nothing more likely to stop you exercising than if you don't like doing it.
Keep a diary of you exercise sessions and believe me at the end of your 10 weeks or whatever it is, you will be astounded by the progress that you have made.
Keep at it and keep faith that this is going to work.
It Will.
