How to Overclock an EVGA 650i
- 1). Power on the computer with the EVGA 650i motherboard. Press and hold the "F8" key to enter the boot menu. Use the cursor to select "BIOS" from the list and press the "Enter" key.
- 2). Move the cursor to the "External Bus" text and press "Enter." Highlight the "Front Bus" text and press "Enter" to open a list of options. Choose the option above the default number and press "Enter." This speeds up the system's front bus, overclocking the CPU and motherboard.
- 3). Move the cursor to the "CPU Core" text and press "Enter." Highlight the "Multiplier" text and press "Enter" to open a list of options. Choose the option above the default number and press "enter." This raises the system's multiplier value, increasing CPU and motherboard speeds.
- 4). Press "Esc" to exit to the main boot menu. Press the "Save and Apply Changes" option, then the "Exit" option. The computer system's CPU and EVGA 650i motherboard are now overclocked.
