Directions on Painting Crystal Wine Glasses

    • 1). Paint a layer of enamel surface conditioner using a sponge brush over the area of the wine glass you want to paint onto. Allow the conditioner to dry for 10 minutes.

    • 2). Paint a design onto the area you conditioned using acrylic enamel paint. Paint the design to suit the event or occasion you are going to celebrate. For example, if you are painting wine glasses for a New Years Eve party, paint the numbers for the new year and a few stars. If you are painting wine glasses for a wedding reception, paint flowers or doves.

    • 3). Repeat this process to paint as many wine glasses as you will need. Allow the paint to dry completely for two days.

    • 4). Place the wine glasses onto an aluminum tray, and place the tray into an oven. Turn the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit, and bake the glasses for 10 minutes. Turn off the oven, and allow the glasses to cool completely inside.

    • 5). Clean off the painted area with mild dish soap and warm water. This will take off the excess conditioner. Allow the glasses to dry completely before using the wine glasses.
