How to Weave Rayon
- 1). Cut six equal-sized pieces of rayon, each 6 inches long and 2 inches wide.
- 2). Position three of the strips vertically and parallel next to one another on your work space. Remove any gaps between the three strips.
- 3). Pick up a strip of rayon and rotate it so it is horizontal. Place it over the bottom of the left vertical strip, weave it under the middle strip and back over the bottom of the vertical strip on the right-hand side.
- 4). Pick up another strip and rotate it so it is horizontal. Position this strip above the previous horizontal strip, but weave it under the center of the left strip, over the middle strip and under the center of the right vertical strip.
- 5). Pick up the last rayon strip and place it horizontally above the previous horizontal strip. Weave it over the top of the left vertical strip, under the top of the middle vertical strip and over the top of the right vertical strip.
- 6). Adjust all of the strips so they are in a neat position, and there are no gaps in the weave.
