    • 1). Download a free book label template from the resource section using either Word or Microsoft Office. Choose a template. Then type your child's name in the marked areas. Save the file and print onto shipping labels.

    • 2). Create your own book labels using any word processing software. Set margins on a blank document to the following: top, 0.5 inches; bottom, 0.5 inches; left, 0.156 inches; right, 0.156 inches. Divide the sheet into six equally sized rectangles to correspond with the shipping labels. Each rectangle should be slightly larger than the size of an individual label, which measures 4 by 3.33 inches.

    • 3). In the upper left rectangle, type "This book belongs to" on the first line and your child's name on the second line. Add an image or graphic below the text if you like. Center and lower the text and the graphic so that all the elements are laid out in the middle of the rectangle.

    • 4). Proofread your copy. Then select all and copy and paste all the elements in your first rectangle to the five remaining rectangles. Save your file and print onto shipping labels.
