    Draw the Pumpkin

    • 1). Draw two large, vertical ovals, side by side in light pencil. Make sure that the sides of these two ovals touch each other. You will erase some of these lines later, so do not make hard or dark lines.

    • 2). Draw a larger, longer oval over the center of your original ovals in pen. Make this oval cover about one quarter of each of your first two ovals. This shape will form the front of your pumpkin.

    • 3). Trace the lines of your first two ovals that remain uncovered by the center shape. Use a pen for this step. Erase the pencil lines that remain visible.

    • 4). Draw a half-circle shape extending from the outside edge of the rightmost oval shape in pen. Repeat this process on the left oval shape. This completes the pumpkin.

    • 5). Find the top center point of your large, full oval. Draw a small horizontal oval above this point in pen. Use two curved lines at the right and left sides of this oval to connect it to the pumpkin shape. Make these two lines meet each other to form a point at the top of the pumpkin. This completes the stem of your pumpkin.

    • 6). Find the center point of your large oval again. Using pen, draw a looping line extending from this point. Make sure this line touches the base of your stem and moves away from it, so the two do not overlap. This completes the vine attached to your pumpkin.
