ago.net/home - A museum doesn't always have to house ancient artifacts or valuable paintings. The MZTV Museum and Archive tells the history of television's technology and preserves the sets themselves. In fact, the museum's goal is to showcase an exhaustive collection of North American television receivers from the 1920s to the 1970s. The collection has the RCA "Phantom Receiver" that started commercial television in 1939 and Marilyn Monroe's portable television set. The archive includes 10,000 objects such as books, magazines, original papers and toys.
