    • 1). Count how many bitter melon seedlings you have to transplant. Dig holes for them.

    • 2). Follow the manufacturer's instructions to dilute a soluble 20-20-20 fertilizing formula in water.

    • 3). Measure 3 oz. (1/3 cup) of the fertilizing preparation for each bitter melon seedling you have.

    • 4). Pour 3 oz. of diluted fertilizer in a planting hole. Place one plant in the center. Back fill the hole with topsoil. Repeat this step until you've planted all seedlings.
