School agendas allow students to organize their day. Creating a school agenda that includes a variety of sections and space for important reminders can give students a place to set goals and keep up with assignments and extracurricular activities. Create a school agenda for distribution to students at your school (or for your child) in a graphics program and then have the agendas printed by a print shop or office supply company. - From an aesthetic perspective, a seasonal design for a calender or planner-style school agenda will aid students in planning their weekly schedule and activities from season to season throughout the school year. Use a program like Photoshop or InDesign to create a planner that offers enough space for a daily schedule with additional room for notes at the bottom of each day. Add graphics that allude to seasonal changes as month dividers or added to each page. Include important dates such as holiday periods, registration, drop-add dates (for college students) and extracurricular events in your school agendas.
- A school focus could include photos of students hard at work in the classroom or making a winning goal on the soccer field. Photos and graphics could showcase your school in particular, or be more general images related to school, such as a school dance, a computer lab or a backpack. Include a pocket in the back of your school agenda where the student can place items like a report card, assignment sheets or a special note from a teacher complimenting him on the progress he's made on a difficult subject.
- Another approach for your school agenda is one that could assist a student in bettering himself. Add photos or graphics that represent different types of goals and improvements that one can make. Goals can be personal, such as improving on a specific subject or improving self-esteem, or more outwardly-motivated, such as planning time to volunteer for a local charity or helping other students. More general daily goal reminders could be achieved by adding a quote about that goal, such as being more courteous, on each page of the agenda or at the beginning of each new month.
