- Peonies are summer-blooming flowers that come in many colors, but are often seen in red or white. Their flowers are full with many overlapping petals. They grow to be 2 or 3 feet high and last up to 10 days in a vase.
- This yellow or purple flower grows to be 2 feet high and blooms in the summer. It looks similar to a daisy, with longer petals that droop slightly downward. It only lasts a week once cut.
- Lobelia is a red or blue flower that can grow quite tall -- up to 4 feet. It blooms in the summer and lasts seven to 10 days after it's cut. Lobelias are made out of tiny flowers that work as ground cover or in a planter. Once cut, they work well as a filler.
