1. Write Down Your Accomplishments
Make a list of everything large and small that you have successfully completed, even if one of them is wake up this morning. It is a very good idea to recognize what you have done so far. I am going to go out on a limb and guess that you have done quite a lot that you have simply forgotten. This list will show you what a WINNER you actually are. Don't think about this too much, just do it!

2. Let Serving Others Be Your Focus
With great success comes great responsibility. Have you ever noticed how major tech CEO's talk when they are being interviewed? They constantly talk about serving the public, giving them more of what they want. Creating something that will spark an interest or create a new phenomenon. If you pay very close attention, you will notice that they are focusing on OTHERS first. This is where you win. You will always win when you give others what they want. You will never have to worry about a mortgage, rent, food, clothing, or anything. You win when they win.
Confidence comes in not only serving others in a profitable situation, but even when you donate your time and effort to others. There is a powerful energy in giving. It gives you an ever different perspective than when you are profiting from the situation. You get that warm feeling that we all love to much.

3. Get a Mentor
You would be surprised at how accessible successful people are. You can find them just about anywhere you find humans. Now mind you, you will only find them where other successful people live/hangout, but do not be afraid of seeing someone that looks successful and begin proper conversation. You will find that many successful people are bleeding to give guidance and perspective to people who have decided to make themselves successful. Now don't go looking like you just climbed from under the bridge. If you dress and act like the natives, they will accept you as a native. Just a tip!

4. Gain new perspective
As you may know, I am a strong believer in reading. It astounds me as to how much perspective you can gain from reading. I read mostly nonfiction books to see how people think, and to see how many ways a problem can be divided up. I love gaining just that ONE idea that plugs into my personal philosophy and is applicable for the rest of my life. I watch TV shows like Charlie Rose to gain perspective from him and his guests. I think you could benefit from that too. You will often get perspective on a problem that you haven't had but when you do, you will have already programmed a solution. See how cool this can be?

5. Gratitude
This may seem soft to you, or even metaphysical, but I assure you that it is not. It is truly a powerful principle that keeps the success faucet running. Let me ask you a question, would you prefer to give to a very thankful child or a child that kicks you in the shin when you give them something? I know what I would want! Gratitude is based in understanding that nothing HAS to come to you and that you could be in a worse situation than you are in. Cause let me tell you, it can ALWAYS be worse, but that isn't the point. So just be grateful of where you are, grateful of you trials, grateful of your lessons, and grateful of your successes! This will help gain more and more success as you go along.

I hope you take these ideas and apply them to your life, because knowledge applied properly is absolute power and that is what want for all of you.
