How to Put a Tonemark in PowerPoint
- 1). Click the "Start" button and choose "Control Panel" from the list. Double-click the "Region and Language" icon.
- 2). Choose the "Change Keyboards" option on the Keyboard and Languages tab. Go to the "General" tab and click "Add."
- 3). Click the plus sign next to "Chinese (Simplified PRC)." Click the plus sign next to keyboard and place a check mark in the box labeled "Chinese (Simplified) -- Microsoft Pinyan ABC Input Style" and click "OK."
- 4). Choose the "Docked on taskbar" option and click "Apply." Click "OK" to save your settings.
- 5). Open PowerPoint and go to the presentation to which you want to add the tonemark text. Position your cursor where you want to add that text.
- 6). Go to the right-hand side of the taskbar and click the "EN." Use the selection box to change the language option to "CH."
- 7). Click the taskbar icon to open the options menu. This icon looks like a menu. Choose "Soft keyboard" and "Pinyan letters."
- 8). Enter the vowels and consonants you need to form the tonemark characters you want to include in your PowerPoint document.
