Directions for Beaded Snowflakes
- 1). Cut three white pipe cleaners down to 10 inches.
- 2). Cross the pipe cleaners over each other at their midpoints to form a snowflake shape. Wrap one of the ends you trimmed from the pipe cleaners around the center of the crossed pipe cleaners to hold them together.
- 3). Thread three pony beads onto each spoke of the snowflake.
- 4). Take a fourth pipe cleaner and wrap one end of it around one of the spokes of the snowflake right above the end of the three beads. Thread three to four pony beads onto this pipe cleaner, or however many it takes to bridge the gap between the spoke the pipe cleaner is attached to and the next one.
- 5). Wrap the pipe cleaner around the next spoke in the snowflake and thread another three or four beads onto it. Continue working your way around the snowflake in this fashion until you make it all the way around. Trim any excess length from the pipe cleaner once it has made it all the way around.
- 6). Thread another three pony beads onto each spoke of the snowflake.
- 7). Measure and cut six 2 1/2-inch pieces of pipe cleaner.
- 8). Twist each 2 1/2-inch piece of pipe cleaner around a spoke in the snowflake so the tails of the short piece of cleaner stick out from opposite sides of the spoke.
- 9). Thread two pony beads onto each tail of the short pieces of pipe cleaner. Bend the very ends of the tails at a 90-degree angle to hold the beads on. Trim any excess pipe cleaner from the tails.
- 10
