Video: How to Put Toppings on a Cheese Bread Recipe
Video Transcript
Today we are going to be talking about recipes for those with diabetic diets. Alright now we are going to talk about topping our bread with our onion garlic seasoning mixture. If you want to go ahead and put this on some aluminum foil because that is where we are going to eventually put it on anyways to put it in the oven, right now I'd do it and save a step. So you want to take your butter mixture and just start spreading it on top of the bread. You can use a spoon if you want to but it is always good to have a brush on hand in your house. As you can see there is not really a whole lot that goes on here, just a little bit of onions and garlic and butter for flavoring. Get as much as you can, remember you have two halves, actually four pieces, so you want to save what you have for the other pieces of bread. So that is probably good enough. What you want to do is go ahead spread this around and make sure it gets to all the edges. And there you go! Alright now we are going to talk about topping our bread with our cheese. As you can see we already got our bread it has been cut, we have put butter with garlic, onions, and seasonings on top, now we are going to go ahead and sprinkle our cheese on top of it. What you want to do is go ahead and sprinkle about a fourth of your cheese that you have on here, you should have four pieces right now. You don't want a lot, it's just a light little snack that you can do. So you put this to the side, and go ahead and grab your other piece, if you see any pieces that fall on the tin foil you just want to pick them back up. Alright, now just go ahead and put this to the side and get out your other two pieces. With these just make sure that you evenly distribute all the cheese. I know how me and my friends have this one rule where if you pick up a nacho or something that's got cheese on it, as long as it is touching everything else, you pick it up and it doesn't fall apart, that counts as one piece. So I would hate for you to have one piece of bread and your friend gets a gnarly piece because of that rule. So make sure you evenly distribute it, and you don't use to much and come back for our next step.
