How to Send a Fax Cheaply
- 1). Use an online fax service. A few that you can choose from are MyFax, FaxZero and FreePopFax. These will allow you to send faxes free of charge, without the need for a fax machine or fax line.
- 2). Scan your documents and save it in a photo format like jpeg or png if a higher photo quality is needed. Use a high-resolution scanner to ensure that even the smallest text will be printed on the fax machine.
- 3). Go to the website that you have chosen to use and fill in the recipient's phone number and name. Type in a message for the cover page.
- 4). Select the JPEG or other file that you scanned and type in the confirmation code. Click "Send" and your fax will be sent.
