Always remember to tone down the hype when you're writing a sales copy. There are many good sales copies that get ruined because the copywriter used a lot of hype to push the product. If your product is really that worth it, the benefits should speak for themselves. It's better to honestly explain to your prospects how your product can help them rather than bragging how great it is. There needs to be a good balance between the hype you create and the real information you give away. People read sales copy in order to learn facts that will help them decide if they want to buy it. If you want people to believe what you're saying, use a friendly and casual tone in your writing. You should also not use too many bold headlines or italics. You should only use these for words or sentences you want to call attention to. It's better, however, to limit your use of them. If you use such things too much, it makes people suspicious. You definitely don't want your copy to carry this message. So remember to be honest and forthright in your writing. Don't do anything to annoy or turn off your readers. Getting straight to the point is key when creating your copy. Right in the beginning let the reader know the products amazing selling point. Never confuse your prospect by beating around the bush. The goal here is to have this customer buying. Elaborate slowly and give the strongest point form the start of your copy. The mistake of dragging on the copy and making it dramatic is made by many copywriters today. The only purpose this serves is to kill interest in the copy which is never a good thing. The goal is to not get the prospect uneasy and confused, but rather interested and clear on all the benefits of the product.

Your sales promotions should always come with a guarantee. You should have a way to get people to put their anxiety about buying something aside. It helps if you show that you have complete faith in your own offer. Before they commit to buying, they want to be sure that they aren't risking anything and that you care about their needs. This triggers an automatic psychological response in the prospect, making him feel secure.
