There are many decorative crafts you can make with man-made sea glass. Bags of sea glass at craft and discount stores are typically sold by color, but you can find mixed bags on occasion. The size of the man-made pieces of sea glass will vary, but most are small enough to use in jewelry and mosaic craft designs.

    Picture Frame

    • Decorate an inexpensive wooden picture frame with man-made sea glass. Select any color, or colors, of sea glass and glue the pieces directly to the wood frame with clear, viscous jeweler's glue. This craft project is a good choice for kids. Look for inexpensive wood frames with a 1- to 2-inch border at dollar stores.

    Glass Mosaic

    • Include pieces of man-made sea glass as part of a mosaic. Combine the sea glass with broken tiles and flat-backed glass cabochons to create a mosaic on a table top or on a mirror frame. Man-made sea glass also works well as part of a mosaic fountain design. Glue the mosaic bits and pieces randomly onto wood, glass or metal with clear waterproof construction adhesive. Grout the mosaic table top as you would one made exclusively with tile. For vertical mosaic designs, use the sea-glass to overlap crevices created by the other materials. If the crevices are covered, there is no need to grout the design.

    Jewelry

    • Wrap a large piece of man-made sea glass in 22-gauge wire to create a pendant for a necklace. Make a spiral on both ends of the wire, then twist the center into a closed loop to make the bail. Wrap the wire tightly around the sea glass so that the bail is at the back. Use notches along the edge of the sea glass to anchor the wire.

Wrap eight to 10 smaller pieces of man-made sea glass to make charms for a chain-link bracelet. Wrap the sea glass with 22-gauge craft wire with the same technique as making the pendant. Connect the sea glass to the links on the bracelet with jump rings. Open the jump rings, and hook the loop on the back of the sea glass as well as the chain-link onto the ring. Close the jump ring.

    Candle Holders

    • Cover a clear glass candle holder with man-made sea glass to create a decorative and colorful candle holder. Glue the sea glass in place on every side of the glass candle holder with clear, viscous jeweler's glue. When you place the candle inside the glass holder, the candlelight illuminates the sea glass.

    Wind Chimes and Mobiles

    • Add pieces of wire-wrapped sea glass as embellishments to wind chimes or mobiles. You can also drill holes through the man-made sea glass with a carbide drill bit, then thread fishing line through the holes. Make rows of sea glass to dangle from the headers, or include the sea glass with other embellishments.
