How to Word a Happy New Year Card
- 1). Write how much you love your spouse and how much you are looking forward to another year of being happily married. For distant relatives, your New Year's card is a good opportunity to keep in touch by filling them in on what's been going on in your family during the past year, such as how the kids are doing in school and in extracurricular activities, any job news for you and your spouse, and any notable events in your lives.
- 2). Write how much you care for your friend and that you hope he will have a happy, safe new year. If the friend is far away, you can write about how much you miss him and express a desire to see him soon, or at least to stay in touch by mail and phone.
- 3). Write a wish for your customers to have a happy and prosperous new year. Thank them for the privilege of serving them during the past year and note that you look forward to helping them during the coming year. If you are a boss, give employees a New Year's card where you write how much you appreciate their hard work and team spirit, and note specific achievements that you are especially proud of.
