Homemade Welding Curtains
- 1). Cut the 1-inch steel tubing into four pieces, each 6-feet long. Cut two pieces 18 inches long for the feet of the screen.
- 2). Weld one of the 6-foot pieces to attach to the center of one of the 18-inch lengths of steel. Weld a second 6-foot piece similarly.
- 3). Weld a 6-foot crossbar onto the top edge of the two-footed sections
- 4). Cut 2 inches off the last 6-foot section and weld onto the footed sections 48 inches below the top bar
- 5). Cut a 14-mil, transparent yellow, orange or blue vinyl sheet to 46 inches by 70 inches to fit inside the created framework
- 6). Install grommets at the end of the vinyl sheeting about 1 inch from the edges every 12 inches on all four sides.
- 7). Insert wire ties into the grommets and attach to the top, sides and bottom of the frame.
