    Ice Skating

    • If you live in an area where the winters are cold, you could probably stroll to the local pond with your ice skates. If you don't have a frozen pond nearby, indoor skating rinks can also be a great place to host a birthday party. Most ice skating rinks are only open during the winter months, which can make your 13-year-old's party unique. Ice rinks often offer discount rates to groups and parties, and many have food and refreshments available. ---Ice skating is a ton of fun, and it's something that will keep your teens active for hours, even when it's too cold to do the things they normally would outside.----

    Murder Mystery dinner

    • If your party is stuck indoors because of bad weather, turn a miserable situation into an evening to remember by hosting a murder mystery dinner, and let your guests take on characters to solve the mystery. Murder mystery games can be purchased at many game stores, or you can find free scripts for free that outline the whole adventure for you.
A murder mystery dinner can be fun for 13-year-olds because they get a chance to show off their acting skills as well as take part in the story.

    Snow Party

    • If you live in an area with heavy snowfall, you might consider having a snow party that could include sledding, snow tubing, building an ice fortress, and maybe even an old- fashioned snowball fight. If you live in an area that doesn't see too much winter snowfall, but you live near a mountain, you might consider taking a trip there. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, there are often areas for sledding and tubing that make for some awesome runs, not to mention some worn-out teenagers by the time they're finished.
