    • 1). Stand with your feet firmly planted and your left shoulder pointed in the direction you wish to throw. Hold the football in your hand with your fingers positioned along its laces.

    • 2). Take a step toward your target with your left foot and rapidly rotate the trunk of your torso counterclockwise, throwing your left arm behind you for added leverage.

    • 3). Begin your throwing motion with your right arm, and extend it outward as you complete your trunk rotation. To achieve the most amount of torque, follow through with your throwing arm by bringing it all the way across your body.
