Lake Wallenpaupack Camping
- Wilsonville, at the north end of the lake, has 160 tent and trailer sites, slip docks and a children's play area. Campers can swim at an adjacent public beach, hike at nearby Shuman Point and explore the Beech House Creek Wildlife Center (see Resources).
- Ironwood Point, at the north end of the lake, has 49 tent and trailer sites, and 13 scenic lakefront sites for walk-in camping. Situated on a bluff overlooking the lake, the walk-in sites have no parking at the actual campsite, requiring you to carry your gear in, but the view makes up for the walk. Ironwood has a marina, children's play area and an arcade.
- Adjacent to the Ledgedale Natural Area at the southern tip of the lake, and rife with glacial rocks, Ledgedale Camping Area has sites for 70 tents and trailers, a children's playground, game room, boat ramp and slip docks.
- Youth organizations can reserve this rustic group tent-camping area on the southern tip of the lake. Its location requires campers to either boat or hike into the lakefront sites, which accommodate 6 to 26 campers. Hand-pumped drinking water, sheltered picnic tables, toilets, fireplaces and food storage cabinets are provided.
- Caffrey, at the north end of the lake, has 29 tent and trailer sites in fielded and wooded settings, and the westerly winds here make it popular with sailboaters. Slip docks, showers, toilets and laundry facilities are available.
