How to Make a Rotocopter
- 1). Cut a sheet of paper into a rectangle. It should be longer than it is wide, though the size really is up to you. It's a good idea to experiment with a number of different size rotocopters, to see which flies best. That being said, it may be better to start with a piece of paper 4 in. by 11 in. in size.
- 2). Draw a horizontal line across the paper about one inch from the bottom and another about three inches from the top. Draw a vertical line down the middle of the paper, beginning at the top and ending at the first horizontal line. Label the left-hand column A and the right-hand column B.
- 3). Place the ruler at the bottom left-hand side of the paper, so that the edge of the ruler is on the edge of the page and the bottom of the ruler is on the bottom of the page. Trace the edge of the ruler that is in the middle of the page, stopping at the 6-inch mark. Remove the ruler and draw a horizontal line from the mark to the left-hand edge of the page. Label this column C.

Repeat Step 3, but on the right-hand side of the page. Label that column D. Your paper should now have two columns at the top which are side-by-side and two on the bottom which essentially divide the bottom into thirds. - 5). Cut the line between columns A and B until you reach the horizontal line. Fold A toward the front and B toward the back, so they look like propellers.
- 6). Cut the horizontal lines at the tops of columns C and D. The cut will not meet in the middle. Next, fold C and D over each other to form the handle of your rotocopter.
- 7). Fold on the horizontal line one inch from the bottom of the page and clip it with a paper clip.
- 8). Hold onto the paper clip and throw the Rotocopter high into the air. It should spin around as it falls to the ground.
