How to Remove Paint With a Heat Plate
- 1). Clean the surface of the area where you're going to remove the paint by wiping the surface with a damp cloth.
- 2). Put on protective gloves. Turn on the heat plate and choose a spot to begin with.
- 3). Place the heat plate over the chosen area for a few moments.
- 4). Use the scraper on the end of the heat plate to test the paint. If it comes off easily, continue to scrape off the melted paint in that area. If not, let the plate rest for a bit longer until the paint is easy to remove.
- 5). Heat and melt all of the paint in this way until the surface is clean.
