    • 1). Click "Start," "Programs," "Windows NT 4 Option Pack" and click "Microsoft Internet Information Server."

    • 2). Click "Internet Service Manager."

    • 3). Right-click the server upon which your web application is currently running.

    • 4). Click "Properties," "Directory Security" and select "Edit" under "Anonymous Access and Authentication Control."

    • 5). Uncheck "Allow Anonymous," click "OK" two times, open your web page in FrontPage, recheck "Allow Anonymous" and click "OK." Click "Tools" and "Permissions" in FrontPage. Click "Users," then select the button so only registered users have access. Click "Apply." Click the button so that everyone has access and click "Apply" again to reset the Service.lck file.
