  Moms enjoy getting gifts from their daughters for any occasion throughout the year. Giving mom a gift just to say "thanks" or "I love you" makes her feel special, honored and respected. Parenting is the hardest job any woman will ever do, and receiving a gift from a child is a thoughtful tribute. Daughters know their moms the best and can choose a gift that will enhance either the decor of her house, her music collection or her jewelry box. Gifts for a mom from her daughter need not be extravagant in cost, just meaningful, thoughtful and from the heart.

• Preschoolers make such adorable keepsake gifts for their mommies using little more than paper and paint. However, it is these gifts that will forever stay in mom's heart and memory box. Have your preschooler put her painted handprints on a piece of paper, and attach the following poem from Step-by-Step Child Care:
  
  Sometimes you get discouraged because I am so small;

• A photo of mom and daughter either taken professionally or candidly in the backyard always makes a heartfelt gift for mom especially when the frame is hand crafted by her daughter. This gift does not require anything elaborate for a frame. The child can simply color or finger paint a piece of paper and then glue the photograph on top of it. Mom is going to love the fact that her daughter made this gift all by herself.

• Bring a camera along on a special family outing to take pictures for the teenage daughter to use to make a memory book for her mother. Take a trip to the local or online craft store so the teen can pick out decorative paper, embellishments, adhesive and an album. • The older daughter, with independent means, can treat mom to a relaxation basket for a special occasion. Fill a basket with all of the needed items to create a candlelit spa right in mom's bathroom. Include bath salts, bubble bath, candles, body scrub, body lotion and a plush towel or robe. Choose unscented products unless you are certain of a scent your mom will enjoy.

• When you become a mom yourself, your perception of your own mother may change. You may now see a venerable woman who spent many years rearing you to be the confident, strong woman and mother you are now. Write your feelings down in a letter or poem to show your mom how special she is. Mount this page in a decorative frame, and give it to your mom. This heartfelt and sincere gift will surely make your mom burst with pride.
