Connect with people.
That's pretty much straight forward and something that is too common sense to even mention.
But the thing is, not everybody knows how to connect well with other people.
If you are a marketer and you want to prom to your product or website, you will want to connect with as many people as you can.
Create relationships and eventually you will have friends who can help you with your affiliate marketing campaigns.

Participate in a meaningful way.
Don't just post boring updates about yourself like, "I'm having a good breakfast right now.
" Nobody would be interested in it.
You must be as interesting as you can possibly can so others will check you out and then find out about the products you are selling or at least of your own website.

Be consistent.
You should not only be active in any social site, but you must also use it regularly.
Don't make continuous updates or comments for a two days and then lay low for two straight weeks.
People can easily forget you during that time, something you definitely don't want to happen.
