How to Compress Multiple JPEG Files

    • 1). Open Windows Explorer by holding the Windows key on your keyboard and pressing "E."

    • 2). Locate the folder containing the JPEG files that you would like to compress. If the files are located in several folders, create one folder to drop the containing folders into to be compressed.

    • 3). Right-click on the folder containing the JPEG files and click "Properties."

    • 4). Click "Advanced" from within the folder properties window.

    • 5). Place a check-mark besides "Compress contents to save disc space" and click "OK" to compress the folder.

    • 6). Look at the compressed folder from within Windows Explorer. If the text is blue, then the folder has been compressed.
