How to Put Twin Mattresses Together to Make a King
- 1). Push the two beds together as close as possible. Two legs of each bed should be next to one another. Attach the legs together by wrapping duct tape around the legs temporarily while holes are drilled. Drill two holes through both sets of legs, one at the top of the legs and one at the bottom.
- 2). Remove the duct tape. Insert a bolt through all four holes, and tighten with a nut.
- 3). Measure the diameter of the mattresses once they are pushed together. Wrap cam straps around the side of the mattress and tighten.
- 4). Place a bed bridge along the middle of the mattresses where the mattresses come together. Make sure the ridge of foam down the middle of the bed bridge goes into the crevice created by the two mattresses.
- 5). Put a king-size mattress topper on top of the twin beds. Use a king-size mattress pad on top of the mattress topper to keep it in place. Add sheets and bedding.
