    Yogurt

    • Blueberries and yogurt make an excellent combination. Each food on its own offers plenty of nutritional value, but when you combine them, you get even more benefits. Yogurt is a great source of protein and calcium. Blueberries are high in dietary fiber, vitamin C and manganese. Blueberries mesh with almost any kind of yogurt, including blueberry-flavored yogurt, plain vanilla yogurt and other flavors like lemon, strawberry or raspberry.

    Cereal

    • Blueberries make a great addition to your morning breakfast cereal. While a bowl of cereal with milk in the morning is a great way to add grains and dairy into your diet, it doesn't include the fresh fruit that is an essential part of a balanced diet. A simple way to get more fruit into your diet is to sprinkle blueberries on your favorite cereal. Any variety of cereal works well, whether it be wheat, corn or rice.

    Blueberry Pancakes

    • Blueberries work very well when incorporated into pancake batter. Just take an existing recipe for making pancakes and add a handful of blueberries into the batter and stir thoroughly. Cook the pancakes as you normally would, browning each cake lightly on each side. Top with a pat of butter and add your favorite syrup. Maple syrup works well, but you could also use a blueberry syrup for even more blueberry flavor.

    Snacks

    • Blueberries can also be eaten plain as a snack. Whether they are picked fresh or purchased from a grocery store, all you need to do is wash blueberries off with a little lukewarm water and they are ready to eat. Another way to snack on blueberries is to dry them in a food dehydrator. Once you've dried blueberries, you can use them as a substitute for raisins in recipes or you can add them to trail mix or granola.
