The biggest advantage of these is that they can easily cleaned and germ resistant and also quite durable. The disadvantage is that the size and color vary in different lots. One has to make sure that while buying them one should buy the whole lot for the entire bathroom at once. But at the same time the ceramic tiles are far more porous than marble or granite and is therefore more susceptible to cracking or chipping. Though ceramic tiles add class to one's home, unfortunately cannot take a great deal of weight. So, if heavy objects are there in a room one cannot install ceramic tiles. Then it would be better to install granite. However it is durable and long lasting and does not tends to burn, stain, fade or be affected by moisture.
